About Me

Aziziah Diah Aprilya (b. Raha, 1997) is a photographer, writer, and community activist. Graduated in Journalism, Communication Department, Hasanuddin University. Currently, Zizi studies and works with Tanahindie, an urban research institution and the Makassar Biennale Foundation. Assistant Curator for Makassar Biennale (2021) and Curator for Kawula Ria, 80s archive exhibition (2022).

 

Her photography works have been exhibited at National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta (Arkademy Project, 2022), Solo Photo Festival (2021), Kampung Buku, Makassar (2019), Ruang MES56, Yogyakarta (2018)

 

Participated in several programs, including: KELANA PN-PRIMA: a photography workshop (Arkademy Project, 2022), Photo Critique Workshop (Jakarta International Photo Festival, 2021), Goethe Institute Art Spaces and Collaborative Projects (2020), Arisan-Southeast Asia Collective Forum (2018)

 

Her writings have been published in the books "Ramuan di Segitiga Wallacea" (Makassar Biennale Foundation, 2020) and "The City Soaked in Drinking Stall" (Tanahindie Press, 2019).
